About Us

Applications and user experience like you’ve never seen before.

Ormuco created a virtual user interface that runs any application by bypassing processing on end-user device operating systems and cloud computing. Ormuco captures the inputs of applications and displays them in end-user devices, and the applications run computing resources in nearby data centers and cell towers.

Our History

Orlando Bayter founded Ormuco in 2008. In Ormuco’s early years, Orlando worked extensively with video game companies to address the structural limitations of cloud computing. By designing computing solutions for high-throughput and low-latency applications—years before the term mobile edge computing (MEC) was invented—Orlando realized the need for innovation in computing and operating systems.

Orlando spearheaded Ormuco’s development of the first operating system that runs on nearby spare compute to deliver unlimited computing resources to any user device, and a virtual user interface that can run any application. With Ormuco, developers can bring to market new types of applications that were previously unable to run in the cloud or on users’ devices.

Our Values

Innovation. Ormuco is never afraid to ask “what if?” when addressing unmet market gaps. Employees are encouraged to take risks—even if they don’t succeed—as long as there are backup plans and lessons to be learned.

Initiative. We generate new ideas, take ownership of initiatives, and build with simplicity in mind. We believe in finding simple (and replicable) solutions to complex problems.

Commitment. After ideation, we go all in. An Ormuco developer know that not everyone may agree on the best course of action, but nevertheless commits to deliver results for customers.

Outperformance. With big goals come hard work. Ormuco needs to be more productive and exceed expectations if we want to change the computing industry.
